Glory Bowl Dressing – The Best Nutritional Yeast Salad Dressing

November 6, 2020 by Amber

Glory Bowl Dressing

This Glory Bowl Dressing Recipe that is inspired by the white water cooks recipe book is a must-try. The nutritional yeast salad dressing is made with tamari, apple cider vinegar, tahini, and garlic resulting in a savory and creamy vegan salad dressing.

I like to serve the glory bowl dressing over a bed of spinach, topped with grated beets, carrots, feta cheese, and roasted tamari almonds. So nutritious and yummy!

You can also make this glory bowl vegan buddha bowl for a mouth-watering dinner or healthy lunch.

If you have never made the whitewater cooks glory bowl dressing, you are in for a treat!

This nutritional yeast dressing is worth trying at least once. If you like it, you will be addicted forever.

This recipe is slightly modified from the original version to contain no refined vegetable oils. Instead, I use cold-pressed olive oil.

The original version of the salad dressing is found in the white water cooks recipe book, which comes from the little town of Nelson, B.C, (Canada). This funky and bustling town is only a couple of hours from my hometown. Check it out if you are ever traveling through B.C.

This glory bowl dressing has a unique/original flavor but very popular among those who live in Nelson and the surrounding areas. I have made the glory bowl recipe countless times, and if you like the flavor, you will never tire of it.

Glory Bowl Dressing Recipe

1/3 cup nutritional yeast
2 tbsp water
3 tbsp tamari
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 clove crushed garlic
3/4 cup olive oil
1 tbsp tahini paste

To make the salad dressing, measure all ingredients into a large mason jar, and blend using an immersion blender.

I like to have this glory bowl dressing over a bowl of spinach greens topped with grated beets, carrots, feta cheese, and roasted tamari almonds. Or try making this glory bowl vegan buddha bowl.

This vegan lemon tahini dressing is another delicious creamy dressing with tahini.

Nutrition Tip ~ Nutritional yeast has a nutty/cheesy flavor that is a great substitute for cheese for those that are intolerant to dairy. It is high in B vitamins, which are needed to make energy in the body.

Nutritional yeast is a great addition to add to salads or to use in salad dressing such as this nutritional yeast salad dressing!

It should store for at least 1 week in the fridge. I usually use mine up within a week so I’m not to sure how much longer it would last for over a week 🙂
