simple smoothie recipe with frozen fruit

This frozen fruit smoothie for weight loss contains phytonutrients that are high in anti-inflammatory anti-oxidants that are beneficial for insulin resistance and weight loss. The basic smoothie recipe with frozen fruit can be made in various ways but has the same core ingredients.

The best smoothies are often simple smoothies such as this easy, simple smoothie recipe made with only one frozen fruit, banana, dates, hemp seeds, protein powder, and almond milk.

The core ingredients in this frozen fruit smoothie for weight loss stay the same, but you can swap our 1 cup of frozen fruit for any of the following fruits:

  • Cherry
  • Blueberry
  • Blackberry
  • Raspberry
  • Strawberries
  • Mango
  • Pineapple
  • Mixed berries

Banana is a core ingredient that makes this healthy smoothie creamy, filling, and naturally sweet. Bananas make all smoothies taste good!

Hemp seeds and protein powder is added for protein. Fats in the hemp seeds provide the body with healthy essential fatty acids. Hemp seeds are my favorite superfoods, especially for obtaining plant-based protein and the omega 3, 6, and 9 fats in my diet.

The addition of 3 dates naturally sweetens the smoothie to perfection. To keep this frozen fruit smoothie recipe vegan and free of common food sensitivities such as dairy, I used almond milk. You can use any nut milk or oat milk as well.

It is also a fantastic frozen fruit smoothie for weight loss as it is low in fat, high in micronutrients, and anti-oxidants that combat inflammation. The top anti-oxidant-rich fruits such as blueberries, cherries, blackberries, and raspberries are the best fruits for weight loss and fighting inflammation.

Inflammation can cause weight gain and insulin resistance, so anti-oxidant-rich fruits that combat inflammation are beneficial for weight loss. The phytonutrients in fruits are fantastic for cleansing the liver, and a healthy liver is crucial for weight loss.

The ingredients used in this simple smoothie recipe with frozen fruit include the following.

  • 1 cup frozen fruit such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, etc
  • One banana
  • Three dates
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp protein powder

Stock your freezer with a variety of frozen fruit to make different flavored smoothies using this easy frozen fruit smoothie recipe. Bulk buy the core ingredients so that you can make this smoothie every morning with your favorite fruit. Which frozen fruit do you like best in your smoothies?
