Oats, flax seeds, walnuts, and chia seeds are some of the top brain boosting foods. The oats in this brain boosting granola recipe are lightly toasted and naturally sweetened with honey.

To make this brain boosting breakfast recipe even healthier, combine erythritol and monk fruit with half the amount of honey. Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups oats
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup ground flax seeds
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking tray with baking paper and measure out oats onto the tray. Cover the oats with a runny honey and mix thoroughly. Bake in the oven for 15 mins @ 180° C.
  • Combine the nuts, seeds, cinnamon and cranberries in a bowl. Add the toasted oats with honey and let cool.
  • Store the brain boosting granola in a glass jar.

Notes

Serve the brain boosting granola with almond milk or plain low fat yogurt with fresh fruit or berries.
