I seriously used to be addicted to these homemade raw chocolates when I was kicking my candida and sugar cravings... I'm pretty sure they were a staple in my fridge for an entire year. While I don't get intense sugar cravings like I used to I am so glad that I had these healthy chocolates to satisfy those cravings at the time.
Raw Coconut Chocolate
1/2 cup cold pressed coconut oil
1/3 cup raw honey
pinch of vanilla powder extract
tiny pinch of sea salt
3/4 cup ground cashews
3/4 cup ground almonds
2 cups medium shredded coconut
1 cup raw cacao powder
How to make raw chocolate
*start by melting the coconut oil and honey with with the vanilla bean powder in a small pot on low heat until it is melted
*In another bowl measure out and combine all the dry ingredients
*Use a coffee grinder or food processor to grind the cashews and almonds
*Combine the wet and dry ingredients mixing well then line a baking tray with parchment paper and spread evenly. Set in the fridge till it hardens then cut into squares and store in an airtight container in the fridge
These homemade raw chocolates will start to melt at room temperature so they are best stored and eaten straight from the fridge! Enjoy... they might not last long:)
