This mango banana smoothie satisfies a sweet tooth craving. The vegan mango banana smoothie is nice and creamy yet dairy-free as the smoothie is made with almond milk and coconut cream. The addition of coconut cream and banana makes this mango smoothie ultra-creamy and satisfying!

I also added hemp seeds for healthy fats and a plant-based protein. A dash of cinnamon is the perfect spice to combine with mango, banana, and coconut cream.

It is so easy to make this mango banana smoothie recipe. Measure all the ingredients into a blender, give a quick blend, and you have a delicious creamy mango smoothie!

Ingredients for the Mango Banana Smoothie

1 cup frozen mango
1/2 banana
1/4 cup coconut cream
​2 Tbsp hemp seeds
​1/2 cup almond milk
​dash of cinnamon and vanilla bean powder

Mango banana smoothie benefits

​The addition of hemp seeds to this smoothie provides a plant-based protein source for vegans and vegetarians. I love adding hemp seeds to my smoothies as they are a true superfood.

Hemp seeds contain all the essential amino acids along with the essential omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. The essential amino acids and fatty acids must be consumed dietarily, as the body cannot make these.

Adding hemp seeds to smoothies is such a great way to get these essential amino acids and fatty acids.

Bananas are an excellent source of potassium, which is an essential electrolyte required for optimal hydration. Adding bananas to smoothies is the best way to make a creamy yet filling smoothie. The resistant starches found in bananas also provide fiber for gut health.

The addition of coconut cream makes the best vegan mango banana smoothie that is creamy and satisfying. Coconut cream also slows down the absorption of sugar and provides extra calories for longer-lasting energy.

Mangoes are an excellent source of vitamin C required for collagen production to prevent wrinkles, is a antioxidant and supports a healthy immune system.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup coconut cream

  • Place all ingredients into a high speed blender to blend.
