Quinoa Porridge for Babies With Strawberries and Banana

This nutritious quinoa porridge for babies is delicious and suitable for 6 months and older. It is packed full of nutrients including all the essential amino acids and contains zinc, iron, selenium, magnesium and vitamin c to support a healthy immune system.   • double boiler
  • High speed blender


  • 1 cup frozen strawberries or fresh
  • 1 banana
  • 1 prune
  • ½ cup cooked quinoa
  • ¼ cup almond milk


  • Place frozen strawberries, banana and prunes in the top pot of a double boiler over boiling water. Steam for 5 minutes then transfer into a blender with 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa and blend with 1/4 cup almond milk until smooth.
  • Portion extras into a rubber ice cube trays and freeze. Once frozen transfer into a freezer bag where it will store for 3 months.
