Brain Boosting Breakfast Granola - The Best Brain Food Recipe

This brain boosting breakfast granola recipe is full of healthy fats for the brain from the chia seeds, walnuts, hemp seeds and flax seeds. It is naturally sweetened with honey, and cranberries and spiced with cinnamon that is one of the best spices for brain health. Start your day off right with this brain food recipe with omega 3 fats!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups oats
  • cup honey
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup ground flax seeds
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking tray with baking paper and measure out oats onto the tray. Cover the oats with a runny honey and mix thoroughly. Bake in the oven for 15 mins @ 180° C.
  • Combine the nuts, seeds, cinnamon and cranberries in a bowl. Add the toasted oats with honey and let cool.
  • Store the brain boosting granola in a glass jar.

Notes

Serve the brain boosting granola with almond milk or plain low fat yogurt with fresh fruit or berries.
