Healthy Homemade Granola Recipe
2 cups oats
1 cup coconut flakes
1 cup walnuts chopped
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/4 cup gogi berries or cranberries (optional)
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup rice malt syrup
How to make homemade granola
*In a large bowl mix together the oats, coconut flakes, chopped walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, cranberries and cinnamon to start making this simple healthy granola recipe.
*In a small pot melt cold pressed coconut oil with the rice bran syrup and vanilla extract till warmed then drizzle over the oats and mixed nuts until thoroughly mixed
*line a baking tray with baking paper then evenly spread the granola onto the sheet and place in the oven
*Bake at 175 degrees celsius for 20 mins. Halfway through baking pull out the tray and give a good stir then place back in the oven for an evenly baked granola. Be sure to set a timer for the 10 minute stir reminder and again for when it is finished as you do not want to overcook this homemade granola.
