One of the primary benefits of beet root juice include promoting bile flow which also stimulates peristalsis needed for a healthy bowel movement, thus preventing constipation and promoting the elimination of waste from the body.
This beet juice recipe is a delicious easy way to get beets into your diet. Combining the beets with lemon and apple helps to neutralize the earthy flavor of beetroot while adding a little zest. If you would like to save the juice for a later date you can store the vegetable juice in an airtight glass container in the fridge for 3 days or freeze immediately to preserve the nutrients and pull out of the freezer prior to drinking.
