Creamy Broccoli Salad

I love this creamy broccoli salad with sunflower seeds, cranberries, crispy bacon and red onion. This nutritious creamy broccoli salad is paired with a delicious and healthy creamy yogurt dressing that makes it so satisfying while reaping the benefits of the nutrient density found in broccoli.

Creamy Broccoli Salad

3 cups chopped broccoli
1 strip of nitrate free bacon
2 tbsp finely chopped red onion
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup sunflower seeds

*place bacon on a baking tray and bake for 20 mins @ 180 degrees celcius. once cooked set aside to cool then finely chop up

*In a med to larger bowl mix together the chopped broccoli, red onion and bacon with the sunflower seeds and cranberries. 

*In a separate mason jar combine all the ingredients for the creamy yogurt dressing then pour over the healthy broccoli salad. Enjoy this creamy broccoli salad immediately or set in the fridge to cool and serve chilled.

Nutrition Tip ~ Broccoli contains sulphoraphane with is excellent for liver detox support

Creamy Yogurt Dressing

1/3 cup greek yogurt
​2 tbsp mayonnaise 
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp coconut sugar
1/2 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp parmesan cheese
​Himalayan salt and cracked pepper to taste

*Mix all ingredients into a mason jar and stir with a spoon then pour over the raw broccoli salad.

    I really like your site. The recipes are wonderful and I would like to make them but there isn’t a print icon that I can see.

      You should be able to print all the recipes by scrolling to the bottom of the post where the recipe card is located. At the top of the recipe card right under the description there is a green button that says print recipe 🙂
